Happy 7th Anniversary To Us

It’s exactly 7 years since Su and I first started going out. I was in my last six months of uni in London. And Su had just graduated and went home to KL from Melbourne. Fast forward seven years and here we are today!

Its really the bestest quarter (7 years out of 28) of my life and I have grown and developed in so many ways I could not have imagined. And I owe so much of it to my wonderful wife. Its incredible how many people have mentioned that God speaks to them through their wives. And looking back to the past seven years, I can see just how God has used Su to build me up and speak into my life. Awesome!

I would say ‘Wow! Seven years, that was fast!’
On one hand, it does seem fast because it seemed like only yesterday that we first held hands and went on dates together.
But on the other hand, when I look back at all the stuff we have done together over the years, I don’t believe we did all that in just seven years! Amongst other things-
- we got engaged, married, had our wedding
- we bought a home, had an awesome renovation and moved into it
- we grew up with the wonderful people of Caleb cell group for five years
- we went to japan, australia, US, canada, london, tunisia, italy, hongkong, austria
- we planned, organised and attended church events, games and outings
- we had many dinners and met many people outside our group of friends
- we changed jobs / roles a couple of times and moved up in our careers
- we were part of the beginning of a new church.

One thing for sure, its been a great 7 years with no regrets. And in almost all of those 2500+ days, God’s hand upon our life has made the difference. There were many days where we had to just hang on and rely on God to help us. And there were equally many days where God just abundantly blessed us with His favour.
